Healthy ageing and physical wellbeing event
Thursday 23rd July | 11am – 12pm
The Gables Care Home in Hagley is delighted to invite members of the local community to a Free wellbeing event designed to support healthy ageing, independence and overall quality of life.
Hosted by Kieran Richardson, Wellbeing Coach from Healthy Worcestershire, this informative and engaging morning will focus on the importance of exercise, mobility and staying active as we age. Kieran will share how simple movement and regular activity can help improve strength, balance, flexibility and confidence, supporting residents and older adults to maintain their independence.
The session will also explore sarcopenia, the age-related loss of muscle mass and strength, providing practical advice on how exercise, nutrition and lifestyle choices can help promote healthy ageing and physical wellbeing.
Whether you are interested in improving mobility, learning more about elderly wellbeing, or discovering ways to support a healthier lifestyle in later life, this community event at The Gables Care Home in Hagley offers a welcoming opportunity to learn, connect and take positive steps towards better health.
Light refreshments will be available. Reserve your space by calling the team on 01562 543860.
