Enjoying meaningful activities helps our residents to remain connected with the places and passions that mean the most to them. We use life history assessments and specialist techniques to explore the interests of each individual resident in depth and discover what appeals to them. Then we design a bespoke programme of activities to enrich their life through physical activity, mental stimulation, creative expression, socialising and, above all, fun.
Our Hospitality
We believe in delicious home-cooked food, attentive service and understanding what each resident enjoys. Our restaurant menu evolves with the changing seasons and tastes of our residents who help to plan each meal by offering our chefs feedback and ideas. From the fresh, locally sourced ingredients and nutritional balance to the attractive presentation, we’re there to listen and make sure that each meal feels like something special.

"My husband has dementia and we go to two meetings a week at Sunnybank House Care Home, on a Monday is coffee and cake, sometimes there is entertainment or we have quizzes or play games, which help a lot with memory. On the Wednesday it is a Lads and Lattes morning. Where games are played and they talk to help recall their memories. Their partner goes in a different room for coffee, where we can have a good talk about what’s going on and help if any is needed. It is very good all round."
