Our convalescence stays allow residents to rehabilitate in our luxury care home whilst being supported by our experienced care team. Respite stays are available for your loved one to give you the opportunity to recharge your batteries and take a well-earned break.

Rokewood Court care home in Kenley is surrounded by rolling green hills and lush green spaces, and is connected to nearby towns of Purley, Warlingham, Sanderstead and Shirley. There is plenty of car parking space onsite and excellent public transport, both by bus and train.
Nearby is the famous RAF Kenley Aerodrome used during World War I and II. Our close links with our community history are noticeable throughout our home, naming our café the ‘Lancaster café’, ground floor community ‘Douglas Bader’, first floor community ‘Amy Johnson’ and our Dementia community, ‘Stanley Fenemore – Stanleys’.

Life at Rokewood Court is all about living in a community and living with great people around you. And every floor is a community of its own, with its own stylish décor, along with clear signage to help residents navigate round the home.
Sitting on the Douglas Bader ground floor is the Lancaster Café Bar (named after the famous bomber), a hair salon and nail bar, a luxury spa bath, restaurant, plus a relaxing lounge with French doors leading out to a large patio and garden. All bedrooms are ensuite and fully furnished, however, we invite residents to bring their personal belongings which helps with the transition of moving from home to home. The ground floor is also home to our tastefully decorated private dining room for residents to entertain their family and friends when celebrating a special occasion.
The Amy Johnson first floor community, named after the pioneering female pilot who was the first woman to fly solo from London Croydon Airport to Australia in 1930, boasts a full screen cinema, luxury spa bathroom, plus a lounge with stunning views of the rolling hills of Riddlesdown.
The second-floor is ‘Stanley’s’, our dedicated dementia community for 22 residents named after the British Spitfire pilot Stanley Fenemore. The design of Stanley’s has been created using the Cinnamon Dementia strategy.

Excellent, quality food is very important for our residents. Delicious homecooked cuisines and freshly baked products are on the menu every day, with seasonal choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and according to individual dietary requirements.
Every aspect of our care home is moulded around our residents. This includes the large ensuite bedrooms, Wi-Fi that is available throughout our home, and a care team that is on hand 24-hours a day. Using the latest technology and automated processes we are able to spend more quality time with our residents.
The Events and Activities team at Rokewood Court keep residents mentally and physically engaged with activities such as crafts, fun chess tournaments, concerts, trips out in the minibus, movies from around the world, chair volleyball and armchair exercises.
The Rokewood Court team are the make-up of our care home family, and it is important we only have the right people who share our values and compassion.
We are very fortunate to be able to be very selective when recruiting the right care staff. Every member of our team is skilled, patient, compassionate and willing to go that bit further to reassure and make someone happy.
