Activities are an essential part of the day in all our Cinnamon care homes. Our Wellbeing & Lifestyle Team carefully plan imaginative and enjoyable activities around each person’s preference giving residents an opportunity to explore new hobbies and interests.
We have fun and games every day, from traditional word games, quizzes and board games to original games devised by our Wellbeing & Lifestyle Team to keep our residents in touch with modern life. Cooking, baking, as well as arts and crafts sessions ensure that our residents continue to express their creativity. Flower arranging and gardening – in groups, with local schoolchildren or tabletop gardening all year round – keep our residents connected with the great outdoors.
Our own dedicated transport means residents can enjoy visiting local hotspots such as a theatre trip, a day out to London or simply a visit to a familiar place of interest.

We are very fortunate to be able to be very selective when recruiting the right care staff. Every member of our team is skilled, patient, compassionate and willing to go that bit further to reassure and make someone happy.
"I have been working in the care industry for over 30 years, starting as a care assistant and then going back to further education to become a manager first for Suffolk County Council and then into the private sector. I have a passion for Dementia care and hold an advanced Dementia training qualification with an additional Dementia mapping qualification."
