An audience with Louis Alexander
We are delighted to invite you to a very special series of inspirational talks with British adventurer, Guinness World Record holder and Cinnamon Ambassador Louis Alexander.
Louis’ remarkable story began at just 19 years old, when he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for dementia research, in loving memory of his grandfather, a former Captain in the British Army who lived with dementia for 17 years. That first expedition marked the start of a lifelong promise: to support the fight against dementia and to use adventure as a platform for change.
In 2024, he became the first and only person in history to run marathons on all Seven Continents and complete marathon swims in all Seven Seas, pushing his physical and mental limits in some of the world’s most extreme environments, from Antarctica to the Amazon and the Arabian Sea. Last year, Cinnamon Care Collection were proud to sponsor Louis in becoming the first person in history to run eight consecutive marathons across all eight Australian capital cities.
At the heart of Louis’ achievements lies a powerful personal mission. Through his expeditions, media appearances and public speaking, he has raised over £50,000 for dementia-related causes and has become one of the leading young voices advocating for greater awareness, research and improved diagnosis.
The Mayor of Runnymede, Margaret Harnden, who attended a talk at Rivermede Court, said, “What an inspirational young man! I was totally in awe of his achievements, as I am sure all the residents and their guests there were. As well as his record-breaking adventures, to be also raising funds for dementia research is wonderful – a perfect Ambassador for Cinnamon!”
