The average cost for care in a care home is a post code lottery with fees varying considerably depending on where you live. Currently, if you are anywhere north of London you can expect to pay around £800 per week for a placement in a basic residential care home, and around £1000 per week if that also includes nursing care.
A 96 year-old’s love of ballet has been kept alive by a special initiative arranged by the team at Abbotswood Court care home.

Sunnybank House care home in Eastleigh arranged a special flypast from a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster Bomber as early birthday celebrations for two residents and RAF veterans, Willetta Woodley, age 101 on 16 September, and Bryan Wardell who will be 102 in November.
It is competition time and the heat is on, to the find the Cinnamon Chef Of The Year 2023!
This year’s contest called the Royal Roast, is all about our residents’ favourite Sunday Roast. Each Cinnamon care home is tasked with elevating this traditional English favourite to a ‘dish fit for a king’.

The coffee mornings are for anyone who may have experienced a bereavement who would like to meet up with others who have experienced something similar, in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Join us for an afternoon of entertainment, friendship and delicious refreshments.

Join us for a free Cinematic experience, 1st Wednesday every month from 10.45am. We have themed our inhouse cinema on the Danilo, which was once on the same site as our care home when it opened in 1940.
