The team at Rivermede Court is celebrating a remarkable achievement after receiving recognition at the prestigious ITV Stars of Social Care Awards, one of the UK’s leading celebrations of excellence within the care sector.
The awards recognise the outstanding dedication, compassion and innovation demonstrated by care professionals across the country, shining a spotlight on individuals and teams who make a meaningful difference to the lives of those they support. Hosted by ITV personality Josie Gibson, the annual awards bring together some of the very best examples of care excellence from across the UK.
Hanka Vlhova, Lead Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator from Rivermede Court, received a Highly Commended award for her passion for creating meaningful experiences for residents and her commitment to enriching everyday life at the care home. Through her creativity, enthusiasm and resident-centred approach, Hanka has helped develop a vibrant programme of activities and events that support wellbeing, independence and social connection.
