Due to open late 2026, our latest 73-bedroom Leicester care home will offer a homely and supportive environment that is responsive to individual needs. Thurnby Fields will provide exceptional long and short-term person centred residential and dementia care within a warm, friendly and welcoming community.
Located on a leafy lane near the eastern border of Leicester, Thurnby Fields offers tranquil living set in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built care environment. All rooms feature ensuite, level access wetrooms for comfort and peace of mind.
For those seeking greater space and independence, take advantage of the premium care suites which comprise an ensuite bedroom, private lounge and kitchenette, plus access to all the facilities onsite.

Designed with meticulous attention, the bright and spacious bedrooms at Thurnby Fields Care Home offer comfort, convenience and a choice of internal decoration. The rooms come fully furnished including a profiling bed, TV, WiFi and a private en-suite wet room. Although the rooms are fully furnished, we always recommend you bring some of your own cherished items to personalise your room. A select number of bedrooms also benefit with access to a private patio and the wider Thurnby Fields gardens. To ensure a good night’s sleep we provide a choice of premium bedding and pillow options of your preference.
Care Suites
Ideal for couples or individuals looking for more space, Thurnby Fields Care Home boasts a small number of superbly furnished Care Suites. These one-bedroom care apartments include a lounge, kitchenette with fridge and microwave plus a bedroom and en-suite bedroom, all decorated to the highest standard and fully furnished.
Café-Bar
The social hub of the home, the café bar features relaxing seating areas where you can enjoy a specialty coffee, freshly baked pastry or a pre-dinner drink. For those warmer days, the doors open to a delightful seating area where you can soak up the peaceful surroundings.

Featuring a working popcorn stand and with refreshments available throughout the day, the Thurnby Fields cinema provides residents with a unique cinematic experience.
