Every year, the Cinnamon Awards applaud the outstanding work of special colleagues who go above and beyond to be the Cinnamon Difference.
They recognise inspirational individuals and teams who strive for excellence, exceed expectations, support each other and uphold Cinnamon’s values to deliver outstanding care and customer service daily.
This year’s ceremony was held at the elegant De Vere Beaumont Estate, a stunning 18th-century country house located in Old Windsor.
Set within expansive private grounds and shaped by centuries of heritage, the Beaumont Estate is steeped in rich culture and history with grand architecture designed by renowned architect, John Francis Bentley.
You make the Difference Award
One of our core values is to exceed expectations in everything we do, and this award recognises individuals who inspire others by going above and beyond their usual role to deliver outstanding care and customer service.
Congratulations to Alfie Dominno, Care Assistant at Hartwood House and winner of the You Make the Difference Award in the Care category. This well-deserved recognition celebrates Alfie’s dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to enriching the lives of residents every day.
The None-Care category of the You Make The Difference Award recognises those individuals who go above and beyond in their supportive roles, to enhance the level of care in their homes.
For this award, we are proud to congratulate Thian Bedford, Kitchen Assistant at Oakley Grange, and Chloe Pawson, Admin Assistant at Outram Fields, winners of the You Make the Difference Award. Their kindness, dedication, and everyday support help make their homes warm and welcoming places for residents, families, and colleagues.
Chefs of the Year 2026
The Cinnamon Chefs of the Year Competition showcased the incredible talent and teamwork across the Cinnamon group. This year, the competition focused on finding the best team, with chefs working in pairs to demonstrate not only their individual culinary expertise but also their ability to collaborate, communicate and work under pressure.
Cinnamon Executive Chef, Lee Joyner said, “We made the changes because great chefs work in great teams. Its about them communicating and working as a team, sharing the workload across each other.”
There can only be one winning team, and this year we give a huge congratulations to Dwight Clayton from The Gables and Nigel Cooke from Eastcote Park.
Spirit of Cinnamon Award
Recognising the importance of teamwork in all our homes, the Spirit of Cinnamon Award looks for great feedback from residents, a positive outlook, high levels of support with colleagues and the wider team and a passionate drive for excellence.
For this award, we recognise a truly remarkable team who champion our dementia care, empowering residents with the dignity and independence to live their best life. Congratulations to the Dementia Care team at Mornington Court, a Platinum Accredited dementia care home.
Greg Swire Award
This special award is a dedication to a former friend and Cinnamon Director who left behind a legacy of Cinnamon values that are enshrined in everything we do. It goes to those special individuals who have dedicated their own time to help enrich the lives of others, and we are proud to recognise the wonderful team at Outram Fields. Congratulations to you all!
