Sutton Court Grange

Meet our Team

We’d like to introduce our friendly Sutton Park Grange team who are determined to be the difference in senior care.

At Sutton Park Grange we treat people how we’d like them to treat our loved ones – like family. We understand everyone we look after has their own needs and preferences. So we create care plans which address everything from their individual care provision and dietary requirements to their favourite foods and hobbies. And with great food on the menu every day, each day is a new enjoyable experience.

What I Do

I help families who are looking for care for their loved ones but often have no idea where to start. This can be an emotionally difficult time for the families, and I take my time to understand what their needs are, find out about their relative, the life they have lived and provide them with the relevant details on all aspects of the care we offer. I will then organise the assessment, paperwork & move in, before handing over to our amazing care team who help the residents settle into their new lives here at Sutton Park Grange.

My Experience

I started my working life as a dental nurse in the WRNS more years ago than I am prepared to admit and have been a sales & marketing professional for many years predominately within the leisure industry. I’ve been working in the care sector since 2014 in similar roles, before joining the Sutton Park team in 2021.

About Me

I have 3 grown up children and am a doting Nanny to 4 amazing grandchildren and have a Jack Russell called Dillan. I love cooking & baking especially bread of any shape or form and love nothing more than spending time in the kitchen for a big family get together. I am a passionate rugby union fan, often enjoying both club and international games live, and enjoy my holidays especially in Italy.

What I Do

My job is to plan and deliver meaningful activities that reflect our residents’ interests. This can include themed days, exercise classes, arts and crafts,  life journals, quizzes, and trips out. We also run activities for those with mid and late-stage dementia such as the Namaste Care programme, which focuses on a more therapeutic and relaxing approach. This can be done on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.

My Experience

I used to run a surf and yoga retreat in Sri Lanka before moving back to the UK and working in a nursing home. Prior to my role at Sutton Park Grange, I gained valuable experience over three years working as both a Care Assistant and a Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator..

About Me

I enjoy walking in Sutton Park and practicing Yoga.  I also play the handpan in my free time and like playing this to the residents too!
