What I Do

I am the General Manager for Parkfield Grange Care Home. I’m responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the home, ensuring our residents receive exceptional, person-centred care. I lead and support the team, set the culture and make sure everything we do reflects our values, from care quality and compliance through to resident experience, family relationships and community engagement. My role is about creating a place where people feel safe, respected and genuinely at home, while also driving strong operational performance and continuous improvement.

My Experience

I began my career in social care at the age of 19, driven by a genuine passion for supporting others. Over the past 20 years, I’ve grown from a Care Assistant into a Care Home Manager, gaining a wealth of hands-on experience along the way.

I’m deeply committed to compassionate, person-centred care and enjoy supporting and mentoring others to grow and develop in their roles. I hold an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management and have completed a university-level Dementia Specialist course.

About Me

Outside of work, I value spending quality time with my husband, our two children, and our much-loved dog. Family time is incredibly important to me and helps me maintain a healthy balance between work and home life.

I also enjoy travelling and going on holiday, as it gives me the opportunity to relax, recharge, and create lasting memories. Having something to look forward to is something I really value, both personally and professionally.

What I Do

I started my career with Cinnamon in 2021 as a Night Senior Care Assistant and, following a successful probation, moved into the day team. I progressed through the roles of Team Leader and Care Coordinator, completing my Level 5 qualification in Management and Leadership along the way. I am now Deputy Manager, working closely with the General Manager to lead and support the senior and care teams, ensuring high standards of care and that everything we do reflects Cinnamon’s vision and values. I work closely with the care team to oversee care delivery and am also one of the home’s Train the Trainers for Moving and Handling.

My Experience

I began my career in care at the age of 18 as a Care Assistant and instantly fell in love with the role. I knew very quickly that care was the right path for me and I have never looked back. I took a break from employment for around 10 years to raise my children before returning to work in 2019. Since then, I have completed my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care, alongside my Level 5 in Management and Leadership, which has supported my growth into leadership roles.

About Me

I am happily married with four children and a very full household that includes two dogs, two snakes, and a bearded dragon. Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, especially enjoying girly shopping days out with my youngest daughter.

What I Do

I am the Home Admissions Advisor at Parkfield Grange Care Home, and joined the team in December 2022. My role within the home is to work with families and the local community by supporting people on their care journey and helping them understand the process of what finding good care is. This is a role that I absolutely love and I really enjoy being able to meet so many new people and helping them as much as I can.

My Experience

I have worked in the care sector since 2014, having started my care career with a home care provider as a Live-in care coordinator and progressed through to Business Development and Customer Liaison Manager. This role really expanded my care and clinical knowledge by allowing me to support people with a variety of needs. After roughly 2 and a half years working in Home Care, I transitioned to working in residential care and since having done so, I have worked all over the West Midlands supporting Residential, Dementia and Nursing Care – this has left me with a true passion for Dementia care.

About Me

I am a mother to a young and very cheeky daughter. I enjoy attending alternative fitness classes, which really test my physical abilities. This is something that has really highlighted the importance of good physical and mental health. When I’m not being a mum or in the gym, I love a good book or quietly colouring.

What I Do

As the Care Coordinator, I work closely with the General Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure residents receive the highest standard of personalised, compassionate care. My role involves a blend of meticulous care planning, team leadership and family support, all focused on creating a safe and enriching environment. I take great pride in mentoring the care team and upholding the premium values that make our community feel like home.

My Experience

I joined the team at Parkfield Grange in 2024 as a Senior Care Assistant, bringing with me eight years of diverse experience within the care sector. My journey began in the kitchen as a chef, which gave me a unique perspective on the importance of nutrition and hospitality in a residential setting. Driven by a desire for more direct resident interaction, I transitioned into a Care Assistant role and was later promoted to Senior Care Assistant. Since January 2026, I have been serving as Care Coordinator on secondment, applying my broad background to ensure excellence across all areas of our service.

About Me

Outside of work, my partner and I share our home with two cats. I have a natural passion for cooking and enjoy the process of keeping a tidy, organised home. We also travel regularly to Newcastle, my partner’s hometown, to spend quality time with family and friends.

What I Do

I am the Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator at Parkfield Grange and moved into this post in June 2023. My role within the home is to put together a programme of activities to keep all the residents engaged and active within our community. This includes meeting with the residents to understand their likes, dislikes and hobbies and planning activities according to these. This also involves putting together large events within the home and booking external entertainers such as singers, musicians and theatre companies.

My Experience

I have worked within health and social care for most of my career. I began within the NHS working as an ambulance call taker and then moved to work as a Nursing Assistant within hospitals. I then made the move to working in rehabilitation as a Therapy Support Worker working with the elderly population in hospitals specialising in rehabilitation following hip surgery. After doing this for nearly 3 years I made the move to work in a local nursing home as an activity coordinator but due to the pandemic, I quickly moved to a Care and Senior Carer position within the home working with dementia residents. I made the move to Parkfield Grange in 2021 as a Senior Care Assistant.

About Me

I have a Border Terrier puppy called Ruby who loves to come in to work with me and enjoys cuddles and walks in the garden with all our residents. In my spare time, I enjoy time with my family, long walks and days out with Ruby. I love to travel the world and visit new places and meet new people. I also have a weakness for shopping!

What I Do

I lead our fantastic catering team at Parkfield Grange. Together we focus on creating nutritious, delicious meals that residents truly enjoy. We regularly hold food forums so residents can share their thoughts and ideas, helping us shape menus that reflect their tastes and preferences while supporting a healthy, balanced diet.

My Experience

I am classically trained from college and began my career working in restaurants and pubs, providing fine dining experiences. I hold NVQ Levels 1, 2 and 3 in Professional Cookery and have spent the past two years specialising in care home catering. I am particularly passionate about creating new and exciting dishes using fresh ingredients, and I was proud to receive the Young Rotary Chef Award earlier in my career.

About Me

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two children and making the most of family days out, especially camping trips. I am also a big sports fan and enjoy following rugby, football, particularly West Bromwich Albion, and boxing.
