Every year the Cinnamon Awards ceremony applauds the outstanding work of special colleagues who go above and beyond to be the Cinnamon Difference.
They recognise inspirational individuals and teams who strive for excellence, exceed expectations, support each other and uphold Cinnamon’s values to deliver outstanding care and customer service daily.
This year’s ceremony was held at the Great Fosters Luxury 5 Star Hotel & Utopia Retreat, near Windsor. This charming Tudor estate is steeped in royal history, sitting just outside of Windsor and in the heart of Surrey, with iconic grounds and gardens, a Saxon moat and a Japanese bridge.
Chef of the Year 2025
The Chef of the Year award recognises the brilliance of our chefs who bring joy and wonder to the table every day, in all Cinnamon care homes throughout the UK.
However four of our masterchefs paved the way into the finales, which were held at Rationale Headquaters in Luton, for the grand finale of our Cinnamon masterchef competition.
Congratulations to Spencer Carter, Second Chef at Eastcote, who is Cinnamon Chef of the Year 2025.
Greg Swire Award
This special award is a dedication to a former friend and Cinnamon Director who left behind a legacy of Cinnamon values that are enshrined in everything we do. It goes to two individuals, who, as volunteers in Cinnamon homes, have dedicated their own time to help enrich the lives of our residents.
It is the first time we have given this award to two people who have both gone above and beyond the call of duty to help and support our residents.

You make the Difference Award
One of our core values is to exceed expectations in everything we do, and this award recognises individuals who inspire others by going above and beyond their usual role to deliver outstanding care and customer service.

Spirit of Cinnamon Award
Recognising the importance of teamwork in all our homes, the Spirit of Cinnamon award looks for great feedback from residents, a positive outlook, high levels of support with colleagues and the wider team and a passionate drive for excellence.
