What I do:
I am proud to be the General Manager at Emerson Park. I have the overall responsibility with the support from my team. My role can vary from day to day and no two days are ever the same. I am passionate about person cantered care and will always ensure my strong team share my vision and values, spreading them on a day to day basis across Emerson, caring for all and each of our lovely Residents in the best of our knowledge and experience.
My experience:
Having trained as a nurse in Poland I qualified with specialties in Surgical and Tissue Viability and worked in Surgery, Accident and Emergency and Surgery before relocating to the UK in 2005. Since then I’ve worked in various Operational and Project based roles, as well as Regional Management. Most recently I proudly oversaw my homes all gain ‘Good’ rating with the CQC and one obtained an ‘Outstanding’.
As a clinician, I am passionate about the care we deliver and insist that our residents always come first. In almost 20 years of nursing I have observed that having a keen eye for detail can make a huge difference, particularly for those living with Dementia, if we are willing to go the extra mile, to learn and to share our experiences.
Being part of Cinnamon Care Collection give me an opportunity to be a part of something bigger, better and something what we all can be proud of.
About me:
When I am not at work I love travelling, good books, cinema, cooking and learning new languages. Any free time I do have is spent with my 14 month old twin daughters.

About Me:
I was born and raised in Ghana and initially trained as a teacher. I taught in both secondary and primary schools in the UK for several years but decided to train as a nurse in memory of my late mother who was a nursing officer. Her passion to care for others especially the elderly was incomparable, this inspired me to train as a nurse.
My Experience:
I have been working as a registered nurse for the past 11 years. I worked with Oxleas NHS Trust and was part of the team which opened the Day Treatment Team. My passion to care for others shone through my work and I was nominated for the nurse of the year award in 2009 within Oxleas NHS Trust.
I am passionate about elderly care and have been working in the care home sector for the past 4 years. To see smiles on the faces of the elderly people that I care for is what I enjoy about my work. I am pleasant, passionate, calm, peaceful and smiley person who pays attention to little things that makes a huge difference in the lives of the elderly people that I care for.
