After working in hotels, I moved to London where I started work on corporate events and restaurants with The Royal College of Surgeons, British medical Association and The Law Society. I moved into care after my grandmother’s diagnosis of Lewy body dementia and my journey to find the very best care for her. I joined Bupa in 2018 as an out of sector Manager and became the CQC registered Manager for their flagship home in Notting Hill. After leaving Bupa I joined Loveday & Co as commissioning General Manager for Loveday Kennington, in 2020 I was awarded the British Empire Medal for my services to care in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

What I do:
I am the Residents Services Advisor at Eden Court. I joined the team at Eden Court as Cinnamon Care Collection before we opened this wonderful luxury care village. My role is both a privileged and enjoyable one, supporting individuals and families as they consider their future options
My experience:
I have worked in the care sector for over 8 years where I developed an understanding of how life changing these decisions can be, they should never be underestimated. Every situation is different and unique. I have personally experienced this journey with one of my own family members and have never forgotten what a difference dealing with someone that truly understood our situation made to our family at the time.
About me:
I enjoy socialising with friends many of which I have known from my schooldays. I have two grown up daughters, a husband who is enjoying his retirement, as well as a rescued greyhound that keeps us active.

What I do:
I advise and support those that are considering a change in their current living situation, either out of choice or necessity.
My role is to guide and reassure individuals through what can be an emotional and daunting journey, making the transition as smooth as possible.
My experience:
I first embraced assisting in the community in my final years at school, volunteering weekly in a local care home and subsequently taking a gap year to teach at a school for polio victims in southern India. After completing a degree in Psychology at Reading University, I have predominantly worked in the property industry, where I have most recently gained experience in the retirement sector before joining the team at Eden Court.
About me:
Having grown up in Surrey, I love nothing more than getting outdoors on my bike or going for a long walk. My other passion is for food. My partner and I enjoy hosting brunches, lunches, and dinners for both our friends and family.

What I Do:
My team and I are responsible for providing seasonal, healthy, well balanced and enticing food for our residents, as it’s extremely important that nutritional needs are met.
My Experience:
I started to work in a kitchen 13 years ago as a dare, this changed my career forever. My first kitchen was a village restaurant and tried others, but I realised my passion would be to raise standards of ‘care home food’ and have discovered that I am able to create dishes that are as good and can exceed some restaurant dishes. I have a good relationship with our residents and making them happy at mealtimes is one of the most rewarding feelings.
About Me:
Not surprisingly creative cooking is my passion, Hungarian food is very close to my heart, I enjoy reading the classics. I would love to do a tandem jump for charity.
