What I Do
I am a Senior General Manager with Cinnamon Care and whilst I am responsible for Eastcote Park Retirement Village and Care Home, I also manage the companies electronic care planning system and support other General Manager to reach the company quality standards.
I am passionate about providing the highest standards of care and support to the people who choose to live with us and ensure that my team operate at the same level.
It is a real privilege to care for your loved one and my whole purpose is to ensure that we aim to be the best at what we provide.
My Experience
I count myself fortunate to have gained so much valuable experience. My career in care started many years ago and since the age of 16 I have met, by profession I am a qualified Social Worker and have managed a wide range of community services , residential and nursing homes working with older people, people with a learning difficulty, people living with dementia and supporting people who are at the end of their life.
In my last role working for Cinnamon Care my care home was rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission which I am immensely proud of.
I have met, cared for, and worked with some amazing people who have taught me so much.
About Me
I have recently relocated from Southampton so am still getting to know the surrounding areas.
My family and friends will say I am a bit of a workaholic, highly competitive and a perfectionist who won’t take second best in anything.
My family live in the North so travelling to see them and my grandson is always a priority.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, theatre and walking my two dogs.
I look forward to welcoming you to Eastcote Park

What I Do
I have worked for the Cinnamon Care Collection for the past 4.5 years and have been a part of an amazing team at Cedar Mews in Leicester. I am really excited to be at Eastcote Park now and feel that my experience will be beneficial to the residents and families I meet here. Empathy, understanding and a real world experience of the issues facing families and their loved ones are a few of the things I bring to the team and along with colleagues, we can help make the transition into care as stress free as possible. I love nothing more than returning family members to being family members rather than carers.
My Experience
For the past 4.5 years I have been working as a Home Admissions Advisor (same job different title!) at Cedar Mews Care Home in Leicester – part of the Cinnamon Care Collection – where I developed an understanding about what makes a good care home and I know that Eastcote will be as well. I helped care for my Mother in Law who developed young onset dementia in her early 50’s so I truly understand the journey families are on.
About Me
Outside of work I enjoy quality family time with my 2 kids and 2 dogs. I am a coach for a local girls football team and although enjoyable I can get a little competitive at times!! I enjoy eating out (when we can) and spending time with family and friends and perhaps having a glass of red or 2!

What I do
In my role as Resident Services Advisor, I am usually the first point of contact for families and potential residents enquiring about care. My aim is help them as much as possible make an informed decision as to whether our setting meets their needs and to be there every step of the way along their journey providing peace of mind and reassurance whilst respecting that this can be a difficult and emotional time for all involved.
I strive to make sure that a new resident settles in with us in as stress free and seamless way as possible and like nothing more than seeing new friendships forged and the happy atmosphere that this brings to our home creating a family environment with residents and our team alike!
My Experience
This is my first role in the care environment and in a previous life I was an Estate Agent and more recently worked for a developer selling new build properties.
I have registered to become a Dementia friend and, together with my colleagues, am undertaking a trek to Snowdon to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, something we are all extremely passionate about!
About Me
I live with my partner and have two young daughters so life is never dull! I enjoy playing squash, cycling and have held a lifelong obsession with classic cars so enjoy nothing more than getting my hands dirty and tinkering with what my girls refer to as ‘Daddy’s old car’, when I have time!

What I Do
I am extremely happy to be a part of the Cinnamon Care Collection and I know that Eastcote Park is a special place where we will provide a community full of warmth, comfort and laughter – a real family home! I will strive to create a welcoming, comfortable and clean environment and maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and laundry for our residents.
My Experience
I have been working within the hospitality sector – specifically Hotels – for some time and most recently I have led Housekeeping Teams within some large hotels in Birmingham. Prior to this I studied and gained a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s in Economics and Management! I really enjoy delivering an excellent customer experience and of course I am a perfectionist when it comes to housekeeping!
About Me
I am a very positive person and I try to wear a smile on my face every day. Outside of work I enjoy travelling, reading and I am currently taking Salsa and Bachata classes.

What I do
I take great pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents and staff. I believe the little things are extremely important and strive to keep the home looking as though it has just opened. I enjoy spending time with the residents, understanding their needs and sometimes joining in with activities!! I am very passionate about providing the best care for our residents and I am really looking forward to increasing my extended family!
My Experience
I have been a maintenance manager within the care sector for the last 12 years – working my way into a regional position and being a job coach for new maintenance managers. During my 12 years I have helped to commission 6 new homes, the experience of which will be of benefit here at Eastcote Park. I have a wealth of knowledge with regards to current regulations, health and safety and I know my way around a toolbox!
About Me
I am a very sociable person and I love nothing more than sharing a joke and having some ‘banter’ with my colleagues. I really enjoy taking part in Quizzes at my local club with family and friends. I enjoy watching most sports and still play football when I can. When I was younger, I boxed and played Rugby and Hockey competitively.
