Watch the Winners from last year's competition

Cinnamon Chef of the Year

It is competition time and the heat is on, to the find the Cinnamon Chef of the Year 2023!

This year’s contest called the Royal Roast, is all about our residents’ favourite Sunday Roast. Each Cinnamon care home is tasked with elevating this traditional English favourite to a ‘dish fit for a king’.

The menu consists of a starter choice, one roast type meal with all the trimmings and one desert. All three dishes must compliment each to create the grand finale piece.

The final to decide this year’s Winner will be held at Rational headquarters, in Luton on 1st November.

Eastcote Park & Hartwood House win regional competition heat

Our talented chefs have been recognised for their work at the prestigious NACC (National Association of Care Catering) competition. The NACC awards are the benchmark for the care industry and are seen as the MasterChef accolade of care catering, bringing together the best chefs from all across the UK.

Nigel Cook from Eastcote Park and Daniel Bree from Hartwood care homes have won the regional cook offs for the Midlands and South-East and are now in the running for the finals to be held on 3rd October.

One lucky competition Winner will be crowned Care Chef of the Year 2023 for the whole of the UK.
