The team at Sunnybank House care home arranged a special festive treat for residents as part of their Elf Day celebrations, to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. They organised for reindeer to visit the care home and also invited pupils from Fair Oak Infants, Fair Oak Juniors and Wyvern Schools to meet the reindeer. Gillian Irish, General Manager at Sunnybank House said, “Our residents thoroughly enjoyed seeing the reindeer as part of our Christmas celebrations. Due to Covid prevention measures, unfortunately residents were unable to meet the children from local schools, whose visits took place after school once all of our residents were inside. However, we were delighted to be able to share our reindeer visit with local school pupils. What’s more, we raised over £100 for the Alzheimer’s Society through our raffle and are very proud to have been able to support this fantastic charity which is so close to our hearts.”
