Surrey Care Awards Winners Rivermede Court in Egham win prestigious care team title
The housekeeping team at Rivermede Court is proud to win the Team of the Year competition at the prestigious Surrey Care Awards.
Headed up by Rose Strutt, the team won this prestigious award in recognition of their exceptional teamwork, the strong relationships they have built with residents and their families and their willingness to always go above and beyond – from sewing buttons on residents’ clothes to working overtime to ensuring that residents always live in a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
Three other team members from Rivermede Court were selected as finalists for The Surrey Care Awards, which recognise the outstanding work of teams and individuals within the care sector across Surrey. These were: Dafne Abril Garcia Nieto for Carer of the Year; Mariano Conceicao, Maintenance Manager for Unsung Hero, and Hanka Vlhova for Residents Involvement Champion.
Candice O’Neill, General Manager at Rivermede Court said, “Our finalists are all outstanding and I am very proud of their achievements. Surrey Care Awards are highly competitive – so winning an award was amazing. We were all so pleased for our housekeeping team who really do go above and beyond. They totally deserve this award win!”
