It was a well-deserved win for Head Chef,
Charmaine Taylor from Leah Lodge and Rectory Court who was crowned winner in the regional Care Home Chef category at the Great British Care Awards.
Commenting on the award win, Charmaine said, “I was amazed to receive this recognition; however, the real award is seeing our residents thrive. I put my heart and soul into our cooking, and it is important that our residents enjoy their meals, as well as having their nutritional and dietary needs supported. I am very proud of how far I have come in the last eight years, completing my professional chef & production qualifications whilst with Cinnamon.”
Meet Charmaine Taylor
With years of experience in the hospitality industry, Charmaine joined Cinnamon Care Collection as 2nd Chef at Rectory Court. She quickly rose to take over leadership of the kitchen team to become the Head Chef in the home, working closely with her team and the residents to provide a nutritional and healthy menu that results in an exceptional in-house dining experience.
