Our new Retirement Village and Care Home, Emerson Park in Hextable, Kent, recently welcomed over 100 local dignitaries and VIPs to its official opening. The ribbon cutting ceremony was officiated by Chairman of Sevenoaks District Council, Councillor Pat Bosley and Reverend Johnny Douglas.
Guests enjoyed a celebratory atmosphere as they toured the bespoke facilities for the 47 luxurious retirement apartments – including a club room, bar, exercise studio, cinema and hair salon. VIPs also visited the on-site luxury care home which provides state-of-the-art facilities in homely surroundings offering exemplary standards of residential, nursing, dementia and respite care and support.
Paul Hart, General Manager of Emerson Park, commented during his welcome speech, “We are delighted to welcome the VIP guests here for our official opening. There is such a need for high end, luxury retirement living throughout the UK, highlighted by the fact that we have already sold over 40% of our retirement apartments. Residents are purchasing properties for all sorts of reasons, from couples looking to downsize and perhaps free up finances to enjoy hobbies and travel to single people, widowers and widows who are keen to benefit from the extensive range of activities and support provided by our dedicated on-site staff.”
“Our care home, Emerson Grange, has been designed and built to the very highest standards. Every aspect of the new care home has been planned with the people Cinnamon care for in mind – whether it is the personalisation of care plans, the careful selection of room décor, mealtimes, hobbies or personal routines.”
Reverend Johnny Douglas from St Peter’s Church, Hextable, who took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony commented, “With the growing ageing demographic and increasing demand for quality elderly care, Emerson Park is just what Hextable and the wider area requires. It is lovely to be here to welcome them to the local community.”
When asked what makes Emerson Park different to other care and retirement living developments Paul was quick to reply, “It would be easy to say the wonderful apartments, facilities and finish of the care home. However, I believe it is the team here at Emerson who will really make the difference. We have recruited a truly extraordinary team of outstanding staff to provide care and support to all our residents. Such outstanding staff will make Emerson Park a warm, vibrant, lively environment for our residents to live and for our staff to work.”
