Book to Visit Your Loved One at Earlsfield Court

Following the new guidance published in February 2022, visiting arrangements for care homes has been revised easing the restrictions on the number of visitors consequence of the success of vaccine and booster rollout.

Residents can have a higher number of visitors who can visit regularly in the resident’s own room. All visits must be scheduled and aren’t limited in time, however, to accommodate as many visiting parties, each visiting slot will be one hour for a maximum of three people. Visits can be extended if there are vacant slots.

Residents can nominate an essential care giver who can visit outside the visiting slots available through our booking system, for companionship and support with aspects of care where needed. We run a separate protocol for residents nearing the end of their live, please contact the Home’s reception team to make your appointment.

We will continue to facilitate visits out of the care home, should this be your intention, please speak with our Team who will complete a personalised risk management plan, ahead of the visit out.

A negative rapid flow test continues to be necessary prior to indoors and outdoors visiting. This could be a test completed prior to the visit or on arrival. If you choose to complete the test prior to the visit, you will need to show evidence of the email or text message from NHS Test & Trace, or alternatively, a date stamped photo of the lateral flow test cartridge that confirms the result of the test on the day of the visit. The care home will continue to support testing on site for any visitor who does not wish to test at home. Face masks must be worn, and we request that those visiting continue to practice hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, ensure enough ventilation in the room visiting and keep socially distanced from other residents and team members.

If the visiting party is showing any of the symptoms related to a COVID-19 infection, high temperature, new and continuous cough, change or loss to the sense of taste of smell, or has been contacted by NHS Test & Trace to isolate, the visit will not be able to proceed, regardless of the test result. In this instance, the Home will make available a PCR swab test for the visiting party to use and post for laboratory confirmation.
