A groundbreaking ceremony at a new Cinnamon Care Collection care home in Bradway, Sheffield marks the first official milestone of a £12m building development to provide the community with exceptional residential, dementia and respite senior care.
The new 80 bedroom luxury care home is based on Twentywell Lane, Bradway, and will open in late 2022. Like all other Cinnamon Care Homes it will include a range of exclusive facilities such as a private dining room, café-bar, an on-site cinema and landscaped gardens. Due to the topography of the ground all floors apart from the top floor (3rd floor) will have direct access to gardens, including a dedicated dementia garden.
Greg Swire, Director, Cinnamon Care Collection comments, “There is currently a shortfall of high end care facilities in Sheffield, highlighting the need for a care home in Bradway. We are passionate about delivering the very best care – offering respect, dignity, choice and independence, all within the very best environment. This new Bradway care home will be purpose-built, with large, luxurious en-suite rooms and six suites, compromising an ensuite bedroom, lounge and kitchenette, ideal for couples or those requiring extra space. The new home will offer exceptional residential, dementia and respite care.”
Anthony Wheatley, Managing Director, Pacy & Wheatley, adds: “We have an excellent reputation for community and health schemes and we are particularly pleased to be working with Cinnamon Care Collection on this important project that will be a valuable asset for the Sheffield area.”
Up to 80 full and part-time jobs will be created for people from the local community. Vacancies will range from housekeeper and carers to heads of departments, kitchen assistants and gardeners – recruitment will start next year.
The marketing suite will open in Spring 2022. For further information click here.
