What I do
At Sunnybank we use local produce to create fresh, appealing meals that offer good nutritional content for our residents. I have been at Sunnybank for nine months now and I love it here. Getting to know the residents is one of my favourite parts of the job so I always try to make time to get out and say hello.
My experience
I have almost 10 years’ experience catering in care homes, the last eight and half years of which were spent working in my previous home. I have a BTEC Level 2 in Food Preparation and have qualifications in Nutrition and Food Safety Management, and extensive training in textured diets. I am also a registered Dignity Champion.
About me
When I am not at work I spend time with my family – I have 12 nieces and nephews who keep me busy. I enjoy cycling and am a huge movie buff with over 600 films in my collection at home.
