Our unique residential care home in Surrey is a place for elderly residents to enjoy their life in comfortable and luxurious surroundings.
Each move into Rokewood Court starts with a personal understanding of our resident’s needs and requirements, their likes and dislikes and really getting to know the individual. This initial assessment involving family members, tailors the Individual Care Plan which defines the level of care and assistance needed, whilst preserving dignity and respecting individuality.
From here our friendly care team provide first class support and care, to ensure the health and wellbeing of our new resident, making them welcome and comfortable in their new home. This comes as part of working with a broader care team including GPs and local healthcare providers such as chiropodists and dentists.
Great home-cooked food and entertainment is on the menu every day at Rokewood Court. Enrichment activities and trips are carefully planned by our Events & Activities team to keep residents active and mentally engaged. This might involve being pampered in our nail bar and beauty salon, or something more energetic such as indoor chair volleyball. And for fun days out our own minibus provides trips to local places of interest such as the tranquil Surrey Hills – a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or an outing to see the bright lights of Croydon’s Fairfield Halls and Ashcroft Theatre.
Dementia care at Rokewood Court is about taking a holistic approach and understanding the ‘whole’ person, their likes and dislikes, their character and personality and their individual needs. It is knowing that each person’s dementia is different and unique, and understanding the mental and social factors that trigger dementia symptoms.

Our dementia home
We work with external partners who are involved in the careful architecture, building and design of our care homes. To create the very best dementia friendly environments, all our partners participate in the latest dementia training to enable them to experience ‘virtually’ how it feels to live with dementia. This is then incorporated into the look and feel of our dementia care home.
