Jessica Tettey

Home Admissions Adviser

What I do:
I’m very excited to be the Home Admissions Adviser Rectory Court.
My role is to support residents and families who are looking for a care home for their loved one.  This journey usually choice or by necessity is often a difficult one.  I feel very privileged that this is my job as I get a great deal of satisfaction from helping people in any way I can.

Experience:
I joined the team at Rectory Court in April 2019. Having worked in a similar role for the past four years. Originally I was an Estate Agent before I moved into the care / retirement sector in 2015 and have honestly never looked back.

About Me:
I am from Wirral in Cheshire where I worked for a corporate estate agent for most of my working life with some time in banking.  In 2015 myself and my husband relocated to Essex due to an opportunity we couldn’t miss, later moving to SE London to be closer to family just before we got married and had our son in 2018.  When I am not in work I like to make the most of quality time with my husband and son.

Nancy Johnson

Administrator

What I do

I am overjoyed to be part of the Rectory Court team. I am really excited to watch this home be successful and, most of all, see the residents receiving excellent care and living in the luxury accommodation we offer.

Being part of the team from the beginning gives me great pleasure; I have been able to get to know our residents and their families, and show the pride and passion we aim to deliver to Rectory Court at all times.

My experience

I have worked in varied roles within the care industry for the last five years. These range from working in the Support Office delivering general support to the homes when they were under pressure, completing payrolls, purchase ledger, sales and finance. Whist I enjoyed the variety of work, the best part for me was being out visiting the homes, helping the employees and mainly caring for the residents. That is what led me to work as an Administrator at Rectory Court.

Josephine Millen

Activities Co-ordinator

I’m excited to be part of the team at Rectory Court. I have over 7 years’ experience as an activities organiser in the care sector, it’s a job I love. Prior to this I was running my own business.

I enjoy interacting and chatting with the residents as part of my role and creating stimulating and fun activities that reflect the interests of the residents here.

I have recently taken an NVQ 3 in hairdressing and spend a lot of my spare time cutting and colouring my family and friends hair.

Cherrie Williams

Myself and my highly-experienced team, are really enjoying making sure that very high standards are maintained, so that residents, visitors and staff have a clean, safe, welcoming environment to live in, visit and work.

In my spare time I enjoy reading and writing music, socialising with friends and family and walking my dog Edna.
