General Manager
What do I do:
I am the General Manager at Parkfield Grange. As such, I am responsible for the day to day management of the home in all aspects from care to catering to maintenance to housekeeping. This means that I need to have a good knowledge of all the separate functions in order for me to lead the team members to deliver a fantastic experience to our residents. As the General Manager my role is vast; I can be involved in anything from recruitment to payroll to audits to care. No day is the same, which is why I love what I do.
My Experience:
I originally trained as a Registered Nurse and have worked in the field of care of the Older Person in both the NHS and in the independent sector since I qualified. Along the way I have gained several degrees, including a Masters degree in Law and Employment relations and a Masters degree in Leadership and Management. I have worked in a variety of roles in my career and am thrilled to be using all my skills and experience to lead the team at Parkfield Grange.
About Me:
Outside of work, I have many interests but particularly enjoy learning Ballroom and Latin dancing, cooking and gardening. I love to socialise and enjoy nothing more than putting my cooking skills to use and feeding large numbers of family and friends.

What I do:
Hi, I’m Karen the Administrator for Parkfield Grange Care Home. I am responsible for several different aspects including being the first point of call for finance and HR related matters. I also supervise the Reception team. I am really looking forward to meeting our families and residents and ensuring that I am able to support them, always offering excellent customer service.
My experience:
I have been an Administrator in health and social care for many years and love it! Most recently I worked for another care group carrying out a very similar role and also supporting the Regional Directors in their day to day operations.
About me:
Living locally, I am happily married to Adam and we enjoy spending time with family and friends, including our 4 children. I have a St. Bernard called Lola and much of my spare time is spent walking her. She never forgives me when we go on holiday, another passion of mine – because she has to go into kennels!

What I do:
My role here at Parkfield Grange Care Home is to help and support families through their decision in finding the right care for their loved one. This can be a difficult time for many; empathy, compassion and understanding are key. I also work closely with the wider community to connect with local businesses, including healthcare professionals, to collaborate and support the elderly and seniors in our area. What I love about working at Parkfield Grange and for Cinnamon Care Collection is the amazing family feel we have, and how as a team we understand the importance of cherishing, amongst many other values, our residents dignity, independence and choice. I am very passionate about the respect we show our seniors and along with the team, work very hard to ensure Parkfield Grange is not just a beautiful place but also a very welcoming home.
I would love to meet you, if you or someone you know is thinking about care, and need more support.
My experience:
I have an extensive background in marketing and relationship building roles with many years spent in Senior Management in media, both radio and press. I have also had the pleasure of running 2 of my own successful businesses and then of late, have spent 7 years working in healthcare for another care group doing a similar role to this one.
About Me:
I am happily married to Steve with 2 grown up children. In my spare time (…. very little spare time!) you might find me studying as I am currently working towards completing my MBA (Masters in Business Administration). We also love our holidays and little city breaks as well as socialising with a close group of friends. Ps I am big Wolves fan too!
