At Hartwood House the dedicated care in our luxury care home is formed entirely around the individual needs of our residents. Our unique person-centred approach is all about caring for the ‘whole’ person whilst respecting each person’s individuality.
Each move into our Lyndhurst residential care home starts with a thorough understanding of our resident’s specific care needs and the level of support they require, and often involves family members and GPs. At the same time, we get to learn about their past through sharing memorable moments, personal likes and interests.
This helps to create a tailored care plan that focuses on supporting each resident’s personal needs as well as providing stimulation and encouragement to live life to the fullest.
Residential care
Our first-class residential care home in Hampshire is a special place where residents receive an expert level of care that is filled with empathy and understanding. It is a place where each person lives in comfort knowing they are supported by a dedicated care team who know their individual needs.
At Hartwood House our residential care is all about taking a compassionate approach and providing care that is meaningful and encouraging to each of our residents.
We work with a wider team of healthcare professionals such as GPs, chiropodists, podiatrists, dentists and district nurses who all work together to ensure the complete wellbeing of our residents.
Dementia Care
At Hartwood House our dementia care hinges on an understanding that nobody’s dementia is the same, and that each person expresses symptoms very differently. Whilst some people show strong symptoms others may display subtle behavioural changes which are the result of an underlying dementia.
Our unique approach to focuses on caring for the ‘whole’ person and tailoring our care around their individual needs. Whilst supporting our residents, our skilled dementia care team take a holistic approach to provide care that is physically supportive and mentally stimulating allowing each person to live with as much independence as possible.

Purpose-built dementia community care home
Our dedicated dementia community is specially designed to create a dementia friendly environment for residents live full lives within welcoming surroundings.
Each area features bold signage and contrasting colours to help residents navigate around the home. Whilst objects of interest and memorabilia located around the dementia community serve as ‘landmarks’ to allow residents to identify where they are and to aid with ‘way-finding’.

We work closely with a number of external partners and bodies during the careful planning and development of each Cinnamon care home. Each care home is specially designed to create a welcoming first-class care environment that boasts stylish furnishings, luxury interiors and the latest facilities, for a real home from home feeling.
Respite Care
At Hartwood House we know that taking care of a loved 24-hours a day can be exhausting both mentally and physically. Our respite allows you to take a well-earned break whilst we provide them the very best care in stunning surroundings.
Our convalescent care is specifically aimed at helping you focus on your recovery whilst we take care of you. This may be following a hospital visit or providing you with the support you need during an illness.
At the same time our short-term trial stays are a great opportunity to experience our luxury care home before choosing to move in permanently.
