General Manager

What do I do?

I am responsible for the welfare of our Apartment Owners and residents living at Emerson Grange within the setting of Emerson Park. As the senior staff member I am committed to improve the quality of life for all our residents through engagement, involvement and consultation.

Life at Emerson Park will reflect our values and commitment to our belief that life is for living, regardless of age. We want to be proud of the difference we make to our residents’ lives, and those of their families who entrust us with their care. We listen to our residents and their families. Everybody matters here and everyone counts.


I have been a General Manager in Nursing, Residential and Dementia Care for 16 years, prior to which I was General Manager of a London University but my background is in Hotel and Country Club Management which is where my attention to detail derives.

About me

I am keen runner, enjoy music and spending time with my wonderful wife and our 4 children and grandchildren.

What I do

As often the first point of contact at Emerson Park, I showcase our development and give an insight into the fantastic lifestyle we offer.

I understand that moving, whether downsizing to one of our apartments or into our care home, is a highly emotional experience and I support and guide our residents and their families through the process both offering advice and ensuring a smooth and timely move.

My experience

I joined Cinnamon with over a decade of experience in both corporate and independent residential estate agency managing various departments over the years from frontline Sales & Lettings through to Property Management.

About me

I am a proud husband and father to a beautiful daughter and enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family both at home and abroad, sharing our love of travel. I am an avid sports fan and in my spare time can often be found on the cricket field, golf course or watching American Football.

Sam Bright

Resident Services Advisor

Experience and Role

In my previous roles, I have always worked in a customer service industry, from a bank for many years, to an estate agent, hospitality and finally the care industry. I have worked in the care industry since 2011 and haven’t looked back since.

My role is to guide and support potential residents and their families in the journey into either choosing one of our luxury retirement apartments or in making the decision to move into our care home. The aim is to make this transition as stress free as possible.

About me

For 8 years, whilst my children were young I lived abroad. Since returning to the UK, I now live on the Kent coast. My family is my life and enjoy spending time with them along with friends. Life is about making memories. I have owned a rescue dog since 2017 and he is now the boss of the house.

Janet Ise

Home Administrator

I am delighted and privileged to be the Home Administrator at Emerson Park. It is exciting to see the home start off and be part of its growth and success. I look forward to building relationships with the residents and colleagues while delivering exceptional support and care.

In addition to a first degree in Business Administration, I also have a Master’s degree in Human Resources. I have worked in various admin and customer service roles and have been in the banking industry for the last 10 years where I have carried out various financial and administrative roles. I also have experience from working as a Human Resources Assistant with the NHS. I have a friendly disposition with a passion to serve and support people around me.

My family is highly important to me; I have three teenage boys and a husband, so always busy serving. I love meeting people, cooking and travelling.

George Goodson

Support Services Manager

What I do

My responsibilities are supporting the Maintenance Manager to deliver problem resolutions in a timely manner, supporting the Housekeeping & Hospitality teams to deliver hotel style service standards and supporting Kitchen team to deliver the highest-level dining experience.

My Experience

I’m a fully qualified JIB electrician having completed a five-year apprenticeship, I then joined Gala clubs formerly Granada as General Manager for 21 years, I then moved into the care sector as Maintenance Manager in 2008 and have worked for three care organisations prior to joining Cinnamon in January 2018 this has given me 30+ years of experience in this field.

About Me

I enjoy DIY and building and have fitted a new kitchen and bathrooms in my house in recent months, I’m married and have two great children a son of fifteen and we both enjoy football and a daughter who is a chef and also works in care, we all enjoy family days out and holidays abroad.

Oksana Rutkauskiene

Housekeeping Supervisor (Emerson Park)

My Experience

I have had 14 years of experience in Housekeeping industry and worked in luxury 5* serviced apartments, where I gain an excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team. I am passionate to providing outstanding care and cleaning service for all residence to make home an amazing place to be.

About me

I was born in Lithuania and can speak two additional languages; Lithuanian and Russian.  I like spending time with my family, camping or just exploring nice and new places. Also cycling, going to the theatre and I enjoy traveling the world.

Dave Walker

Maintenance Manager

What I Do

I am fairly new to Cinnamon and found everyone extremely committed to providing the very best care. With the opening of Emerson park there are exciting times to come and I am looking forward to getting started in the new home.

My Experience

I joined the army when I was 18 and spent the majority of my time in West Germany as a tank crewman.  Having left the Forces, I spent over 30 years in the construction industry where I had my own painting and decorating company. During this time, I became competent in various other trades including tiling, carpentry and plastering. After 20 years, I decided to take myself away from the construction business and try my hand a something different.

In 2004 I started work on the London underground as a construction supervisor working on station refurbishments. My work involved many aspects of the rail industry which I found interesting and challenging. It also gave me the chance to work with my sons, and pass on some of my construction knowledge. In 2017 I left LUL and started working in the care industry

About Me

I am happily married with 3 grown up boys, two are now fire fighters and my youngest works as a mortgage advisor.

Jemima Ampomah

Care Services Manager

About Me

I was born and raised in Ghana and initially trained as a teacher. I taught in both secondary and primary schools in the UK for several years but decided to train as a nurse in memory of my late mother who was a nursing officer. Her passion to care for others especially the elderly was incomparable, this inspired me to train as a nurse.

My Experience

I have been working as a registered nurse for the past 11 years. I worked with Oxleas NHS Trust and was part of the team which opened the Day Treatment Team. Though I was newly qualified within the team, my passion for care enabled me to excel to become the Well Being Clinic Lead where I championed the physical health needs of people with enduring mental health needs. My passion to care for others shone through my work and I was nominated for the nurse of the year award in 2009 within Oxleas NHS Trust.

I am passionate about elderly care and have been working in the care home sector for the past 4 years. To see smiles on the faces of the elderly people that I care for is what I enjoy about my work. I am pleasant, passionate, calm, peaceful and smiley person who pays attention to little things that makes a huge difference in the lives of the elderly people that I care for.

Rebecca Conner


What I do

My role within Emerson Park includes responsibility for all things finance related within the home and apartments including residents billing, petty cash, payroll and processing supplier invoices.

My Experience

My previous roles have always been in either Accounts or Administration, I have over 20 years’ experience in those fields, but this is my first venture into the care industry and I’m looking forward to the new challenge.

About Me

A semi-retired runner, I enjoy spending time at the gym weight training, walking my dog or spending time with my two teenagers (whether they like it or not).
