Come along to Cedar Mews Care Home for our signposting and information afternoon and meet local professionals, carers support groups and many more. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about Cedar Mews Care Home and have a tour.
Come along and join is for our first Cedar Fest - a day full of live music, dancing, games, stalls and general fun!! Entry is £3 for adults and proceeds will be distributed to local charities. Children under 16 are free.
We are opening our doors for National Care Home Open Day on Friday 28th June from 11:00 - 15:00. You are invited to join us in enjoying a Bollywood themed day with authentic Indian Food, a one hour Bollywood Dance workshop, a Sari fashion show from our local Primary school and of course the opportunity to look around our beautiful home.
Come along to our Carers Workshop at Cedar Mews Care Home on 11th April to find out how to enjoy some You Time. Allowing yourself to have time and to relax is important for your physical and emotional well being. Run inconjuction with Age UK it is a great opportunity to meet people and get some valuable advice on how to relax.
A Dementia Friend is somebody that learns about dementia so they can help their community.
Too many people affected by dementia feel that society fails to understand the condition they live with. Dementia Friends help by raising awareness and understanding, so that people living with dementia can continue to live in the way they want.
