The village of Burcot is noted for its rural charm and character and, of course, its shortbread. It has a warm, traditional English community with a village hall at its heart, which welcomes residents to its activities, from village fetes to flower shows and barn dances. The home is close to the town of Bromsgrove and its range of amenities.
Burcot Grange sits in five acres of perfectly maintained lawns and gardens. Its traditional black and white Victorian façade is matched by a luxurious country house interior, with a wooden panelled reception area, stained glass windows and a fireside lounge with open log fires in the winter months. There are 36 rooms in total, including spacious en-suite rooms, independent living suites and extended state-of-the-art facilities.
Catch up with guests or fellow residents for a tasty treat in our conservatory, garden room or fireside lounge, enjoy a glass of wine or two and sample our delicious menu of seasonal, home-cooked food in our sociable dining room.
Happy hour in our garden room feels extra special in the summer months when we spill out onto the patio overlooking the fishpond, enjoying the company of our fellow residents along with their family and friends. In winter, you’ll be naturally drawn to our fireside lounge, which enjoys panoramic views of the front gardens and driveway.
There’s a hairdressing and beauty salon if you feel like being pampered, or simply relax at a film screening in the Fireside Lounge. Activities take place in many of the communal spaces where we cater for a wide range of interests. Green-fingered residents can pursue their passion for horticulture in the large greenhouse in the gardens.
Having our own transport opens up opportunities for days out to the many local attractions in and around Burcot. Whether it’s for a local pint down at The Vic, a fish supper from Barnt Green’s finest chippie, or one of our many trips to the countless gardens, museums and galleries nearby, every single outing – spontaneous or planned – is arranged to keep our residents feeling stimulated, connected and happy.
We’re proud to have been at the heart of this community since we first opened our doors in 1992. Ask anyone living locally and they’ll be familiar with our famous summer soirees in the garden, WI coffee mornings, cheese and wine evenings for family and friends, and our support for local groups and charities.
Some things you just need to see to believe. Discover the difference for yourself – come and visit Burcot Grange today. We’d love to meet you.
